Elche

Elche, or Elx in Valenciano, is the third major city in the Valencian Comunity by population, extension and resources. Elche has an interesting historic centre and is an open city, for visiting by day and by night thanks to its vibrant night life and commercial offer. Its a city full of services and amenities where you can take a walk through the shopping centres, street markets or the biggest palm tree grove in Europe.

The Palmeral de Elche has together with the sacred representation of the Misteri de Elche been declared World Heritages by Unesco.

The Moros y Cristianos festivities, the Easter Semana Santa fiesta, the celebrated Dama de Elche sculpture and the local shoe industry are all the identity symbols of this beautiful city, with over 2000 years of history.
